Bradford Equipment Co. Inc., which is a privately owned Florida Corporation, provides in the course of it's daily operation, equipment appraisal services to the foundry industry, as well as it's normal business of buying and selling used foundry equipment. The President John C. Helm has over thirty-eight years of experience with foundries. [see list of experience] John has spent over nine years with Shalco Systems (Foundry Equipment Manufacturers) in Product Development, Sales and Service and five years as a Manufacturer's Representative specializing in custom designed foundry equipment and systems. John also has three years in the foundry industry in the capacity of Plant Engineer, Product Management, Maintenance Supervision and Sales. Dane West, Inc. is a privately held corporation which provides provides foundry and steel mill melt shop equipment. A major part of the company's operations include equipment removal, inventorying, loading, transportation, reinstallation and comissioning as well as field service. Company President Greg L. U'Ren received a degree in Metallurgy from the University of Wisconsin and has thirty-five years of experience working with foundry and steel mill melt shop equipment. Greg spent ten (10) years with Lectromelt Corporation, a major supplier of Electric Arc Furnaces for many years, and held supervisory and managerial positions in melt shop operations utilizing Cupolas melting both gray and ductile iron, inductions furnaces producing ductile and gray irons and electric arc furnace shops producing steel. Dane West, Inc. was organized by Greg in 1989 and focused on buying, selling and servicing Electric Arc Furnace and melt shop auxilary equipment. The company quickly moved into the removal, installation and commissioning of the equipment it was selling as well as field service work. The company saw further opportunities in electrical transformer and substation equipment, polution control equipment and material handling equipment including bridge cranes and has prospered in those areas. email: greg@ufdy.com |
